Abstract
Currently, discovering and composing individual Web services into more complex and more useful business process is an important challenge. Web Services deployed in P2P circumstance breaks the limitation of centralized approaches and can provide more dynamic, scalable and reliable functions. This paper proposes a peer-to-peer approach based on ontology to Web service publication and discovery used for intelligent business process platform of Virtual Travel Agency. In addition, it puts forward a novel organization scheme of peer-to-peer service nodes based on domain ontology and group ontology, which has highly improved the efficiency of service discovery and process execution. Finally, a prototype system is presented to illustrate the analysis and evaluation of the performance.
