            Abstract :
This paper presents the design of electro-static septum control system for HIRFL-CSR (Heavy Ion Research Facility of Lanzhou and Cooler Storage Rings) main ring. System´s hardware consists of serial-port distributor, motor controller, motor driver, step motor and electro-static septum. The remote PC via Ethernet sends control command to serial-port distributor and control the rotation of the motor to complete multiple multi-turn and stripping injection mode switching. The control software running in the PC is designed in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 environment. The control system has simple structure, reliable performance, and is able to complete the main ring injection mode switching. The intended design specifications are achieved.
