Abstract
Microwave noise meter measurement accuracy depends both on the measurement method and the method selected for meter calibration. For amplitude noise measurement, using the direct detection method, it is necessary to know the value of coefficient which characterizes the shape of the diode detection curve. In addition, it is necessary to know the steepness of the phase detector for phase noise calibration.
