Abstract :
An economical multipoint audiovisual communicating system technology for the ISDN basic rate interface is introduced. The system offers multipoint audiovisual communication using the ring-type connection via the two B channels in the ISDN basic rate interface for each terminal. The system´s connection control offers a terminal skipping procedure. Multipoint image processing produces a divided display by digital data manipulation. Finally, an ISDN basic rate interface videophone using this system technology is described
