Abstract :
This paper describes a new real-time color quantization method for realizing full-color video quality. The method utilizes a pseudo-color assignment table (PAT) that transforms the input video signals to optimal color-codes with dithering. We have confirmed that the PAT method has a higher speed and a better quality than those of previous methods. The PAT method is suitable for the implementation of personal computer software
