Abstract
Presently, for equalizing stresses and higher reliability, the load sharing usually is required for the parallel connected converters, which is expected to ensure the equal temperature rise. However, for a large-scale DPS, load current sharing doesn´t indicate the equal operation junction temperature. In order to ensure the equal junction temperature, the active balancing temperature control strategy based on temperature sensing is proposed in this paper, which ensures higher system reliability. For the temperature control consideration, the different operation modes of converter are divided and demonstrated. In the meanwhile, the thermal transfer network is modeled for control system analysis and design. The simulation for the two parallel IPEM-based converters under different thermal transfer conditions is carried out. The control strategy is verified with the simulation results
