Abstract :
The allocation of electrical energy meters in power systems is given a careful consideration. Observability is understood as the ability of electrical energy distribution calculation based on existing measurements. The problem definition is given in terms of the application of the state estimation theory. State equations for energy distribution problem differ from the similar ones for power distribution problem. Therefore, these problems have different criteria of observability. Numerical characteristics of the observability degree of electrical energy flows as well as recommendations for system accounting redundancy increase are given.
