Abstract :
The compositions and dielectric properties of temperature-stable Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-based ceramics were designed according to the logarithmic mixing rule. On the basis of design, a series of Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-based ceramics were prepared using two compositions in the Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3 )O3-BaTiO3-PbTiO3 system as two constituents by the mixed-sintering method. The results of dielectric measurements revealed that the ceramics are composites. A temperature-stable ceramic prepared by the mixed sintering method was obtained and its dielectric properties were as follows: dielectric constant was 3850, dissipation factor was less than 1.5%, and the temperature coefficient of capacitance met requirement of X7S specification (TCC⩽±22%, -55-+125°C) of EIA standards
