  • Abstract
    The RSSI-based localization is widely researched in wireless network, the signal strength acquirement is convenient by network nodes and need not additional hard wares. We propose a numerical method to correct and optimize the weight value from similitude signal strength named CO-WVSS for improving range accuracy. In particular, we correct and optimize a weight value to reduce errors of RSSI measurement which combined with triangle centroid localization algorithm and estimate the angel and path to optimize the localization algorithm with CO-WVSS. In addition, we perform computer simulations using the OPNET modeler in order to prove our hybrid algorithm can obviously the locating accuracy compared to the single triangle centroid localization algorithm based on RSSI.
