Abstract
Production scheduling is a familiar element in the manufacturing flow and the key point of scheduling is bottleneck. By analyzing the bottleneck in the manufacturing flow, the paper aims to build an illuminative production scheduling algorithm, which divides scheduling into two stages. At the first stage, the preliminary delivery time of the working bottleneck can be identified after being scheduled under the principles of EDD and SPT based on the time of delivery; at the second, after considering the indexes of time of delivery, processing batch, transport hours, man-hours, material varieties as well as material quality etc., a multi-target fuzzy clustering method is adopted in the scheduling of the sequences over bottleneck in order to acquire a better and feasible scheduling.
