Abstract :
Transient analysis of pulse propagation on a coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed rectangular slot antenna for ultra-wideband (UWB) communication system application was performed using a transient electrooptic near-field mapping system. Details of short electrical pulse propagation and reflection in the UWB antenna were characterized. The system was very effective in characterizing transient behavior of short electrical pulses in the UWB antenna
