Abstract :
An ultra wideband and multi-frequency T/R module used in a phased array transceiver system is described. The T/R module operating from 10 to 35 GHz has three transmit channels at 10, 19, 32 GHz and three receive channels at 12, 21, 35 GHz. The T/R module is composed of two mirror-imaged multiplexers, MMIC low noise amplifiers and MMIC power amplifiers. With the multiplexers, the T/R module can transmit and receive multi-frequency signals simultaneously. Fabrication issues including interconnections between components are also presented. The module can be used as a building block for a full-duplex multi-frequency phased array transceiver system
