Abstract :
Field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) offer a quick and cost effective implementation for medium to large size digital designs that traditionally have been carried out by ASIC or DSPs. We present a simple design for an active periodic noise control system using only one FPGA. Experimental results show that with proper adjustment of the acoustic delay substantial noise reduction is achieved
