Abstract :
This research explores the adoption and implementation of electronic government (eGov) in the Emirate of Dubai part of the United Arab Emirates. The initiative was initiated in 2000 by His Highness (HH) Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai. The project witnessed different developmental cycles and hence, completed the transactional stage reaching to the integration phase. The attainment of this vision was contingent upon the fulfillment of different critical success factors discussed in this research.
