Abstract :
Mobile video surveillance plays an important role in public security monitoring. As it is convenient to get access to the system, mobile video surveillance has a large number of customers, thus load balance of the mobile streaming media server is one critical issue of this application. In order to maintain system load balance, we propose a mobile streaming media server cluster solution based on the Linux Virtual Server (LVS), and modify the scheduling algorithm of LVS. The testing results show that this solution can effectively realize the streaming media server load balance and improve user experience.
