Abstract
We propose and demonstrate a high-bandwidth, reconfigurable wireless communication system based on the WDM and TDMA techniques (not limited to TDMA only). Channel borrowing and dynamic bandwidth allocation among cells through the networked inter-cell coordination can be easily achieved with the proposed hardware infrastructure. In effect, dynamic load balancing through the reconfigurability of our backbone networks will be able to deliver on-demand capacity to anywhere at anytime
