  • Abstract
Two algorithms are described for optimizing the coefficients of programmable filters in telephone networks. The two algorithms work with the LMS (least-mean-squares) algorithm to find an optimal set of coefficients of a programmable FIR (finite-impulse response) filter in meeting the different requirements worldwide. The algorithms were simulated and verified experimentally.<>
