Abstract
This work presents an automatic gain control circuit used to control the output power of an off-chip power amplifier. The automatic gain control circuit controls the output power level of a transmitter and generates a well controlled ramp-up and ramp-down of the transmitted signal. This circuit is implemented in an IBM CMOS RF 0.13μm technology.
