Abstract
This paper discusses the design and implementation of a PDA-based health monitoring system. The system integrates various technologies to provide individuals with a portable, light weight monitoring unit that can assist patients in leading a healthy and independent life without risks or confinement to medical facilities. The results were encouraging and warrant further exploration of the proposed methodology.
