  • Abstract
    According to the large scale wind power construction plan of JiuQuan area Gansu Province China, there are two 750kV transmission lines with four transformer stations planned for sending wind power to load center, which is over 1000 km, called Hexi transmission corridor. In the interest of improving the transmission capability, fixed series compensation (FSC) is adopted in Hexi corridor. The FSC scheme was analyzed from the aspects of locations, compensation degree, etc... Suggestions for the FSC scheme were provided finally.
