Abstract :
The detection of the wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) signal at the mobile using a new blind adaptive hybrid approach in the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scenario is taken up. A two step method with only the knowledge of the spreading code of interest and the discard prefix (DP) assumption is proposed. This uses a higher order statistical (HOS) approach and the principle of minimum output energy (MOE). This blind technique is well suited to the reception of multimedia signals which demands high bandwidth for its high data rate transmission.
