Abstract :
Recently, many countries have supported researches on the next generation of the electric grid to decrease the emission of CO2 and to improve the efficiency of energy generations. A test-bed is planned to be set up for verifying the new technologies including the next electric grid until 2011. Korean next electric grid is named K-Grid. K-Grid will hasten the changes of power systems, their information systems regulations and the relations among the stakeholders. Therefore, it is mandatory to estimate the direction of changes caused by K-Grid for designing the new business model and preoccupying the new markets related to energy. I expect the extracting the knowledge pattern from the data of test-bed to help this estimation of these directionalities.
