The design of a telephone central office telecommunication battery plant is discussed with an emphasis on the critical processes required to insure a quality performing battery plant-thorough and complete requirements, design considerations, and system integration testing. Two perspectives of a quality battery plant are presented-the vendor´s and the user´s.<>
