  • Abstract
    With wind farms expansion, the wind generations have large influence on power grids. Taking wind farms connecting to the grids as an object of study, this paper set up dynamic mathematical models of asynchronous wind power system, including wind speed, wind turbine, transmission mechanism and asynchronous generator. And set up the dynamic simulation model of asynchronous wind power using Power System Analysis Software Package (PSASP) according to an actual grid connected wind farm. For various operation status of the grid connected wind farm, simulations are carried out. The simulation results verify the correctness of the programs.
