Abstract
An IC that corrects both the high and low frequency black and white distortions of an image scanning system is reported. Except for an external memory, the chip includes all of the detection, correction and video ADC circuitry. It outputs 8 bit video data at 15 Mpixel/sec. The circuit occupies 35.6 mm2 in a 0.8 μm double poly, double metal CMOS process, and draws 120 mA from a 5 V supply
