Abstract :
Multicast communication is becoming the basis for a growing number of applications. It is therefore critical to provide a founded security mechanism for multicast communication. The core problem of large-scale secure multicast communication is analyzed and a novel solution to the scalability problem of multicast key management is presented. It is based on the the evolutionary heuristic algorithm and can deal with any class of key graphs with frequent joins and leaves. Experiments proved that it has high efficiency and quality, and is better than the traditional algorithms
