  • Abstract
    Three gateways which are C/BGF, SCGF and MGF have been used in the ITU-T´s IN/Internet interworking model. The C/BGF is used to realize the interworking over bearer and signaling level. The author of this paper has taken part in the National 863 Key project named “New Generation of IN Intelligent Service Platform supporting IP-networks”, and accomplished the research and design work of C/BGF. This paper gives a detailed discussion and design of C/BGF, the function of which can be divided into two parts: Internet access and VoIP gateway. This paper separately discusses these two parts and several related protocols
