Abstract :
A 50 kV photo-electron gun was developed to construct a powerful broad-band terahertz radiation source. A magnesium photocathode was irradiated by a frequency tripled Ti:sapphire laser. Train of electron bunch of 50 pC was generated. The bunch produced the optical transition radiation at the beam dumper.
