  • Abstract
In this paper, an effective technique for solving fuzzy relation equation R*a=b (* is a certain operation), where R and b are known and a is unknown, is proposed. The proposed method can lead to all solutions a by simple logical operations, utilizing auxiliary matrices. Furthermore, a useful rule that can exclude the redundant fuzzy sets in advance is introduced
