Abstract :
The Airline Industry has undergone major disruption but recovered by transforming procedures, pricing and user interaction. Telecom is following a similar path. By analysing the similarities and observing further evolution, we can chart future evolution of Telecom, in particular the effect of the web on the value chain and the changing consumer attitudes. Telecom is yet to adopt web technologies and implement web style procedures.
