  • Abstract
An ultrasonic beam of sufficient intensity passing through a liquid and pointed to an air interface causes the atomization of liquid. A fountain is created, and liquid droplets are ejected all around. Under optimized conditions, a fine fog can also be generated. The aim of the research and development work performed is to try to understand the mechanism of mist formation in order to increase droplets generators efficiency and then to build and test a prototype
