Abstract :
Transaction services such as payment or ticketing, but also security-sensitive services such as user identification or facility access control are increasingly executed in electronic format. With the concept of the SIM-based mobile wallet, this paper presents an integrative approach to electronic transaction services, combining the user experience of handling plastic cards with the convenience and security of mobile telecommunication and emerging NFC infrastructure. Requirements, technical prerequisites and solution architecture are discussed and a proof-of-concept implementation is presented.
