Abstract :
This paper deals with the elimination of damped capacitance from the equivalent circuit of a piezoelectric vibrator, which is achieved using an operational amplifier circuit. In the first part of this paper, the theoretical principle of a basic capacitance elimination circuit is described. The second part contains an experimental investigation of the circuit. Moreover, applying this technique, the possibility that the equivalent resistance of the vibrator can be controlled electrically, is pointed out
