Abstract :
A new method, M3JPDA (multiple maneuver model JPDA), for maneuvering target tracking in a dense environment is the extension of the conventional JPDA (joint probabilistic data association). In the M3JPDA, the maneuver acceleration is assumed to be limited to a time invariant set of discrete values. But, in the M3JPDA, there is a case that track maintenance capability of two crossing targets is inferior to that of the JPDA. Therefore, some adaptive techniques are proposed to improve the performance of the M3JPDA. The performance of this method is evaluated in terms of tracking success rates by computer simulation
