  • Abstract
Summary form only given. An application of a Hopfield network to the discrete Fourier transform was studied. First, the commonalities and differences were defined by a study and comparison of the discrete Fourier transform and Hopfield network structures, and then, in order to investigate the difference, a numerical analysis was conducted. As a result, it became clear that since the coefficient matrix of the Fourier transform and the connection weight matrix of the Hopfield network each have a symmetry, the Fourier transform can be conducted by the Hopfield network. Moreover, its convergence was confirmed by simulation
