Abstract :
We compare 44.6-Gbit/s NRZ-DQPSK format with EDC against RZ-DQPSK format for 50-GHz-spacing ROADM system. NRZ-DQPSK with EDC is superior to RZ-DQPSK when ROADM node number exceeds 10.
