Abstract
This paper presents a new control method for a current source active power filter. The LC filter resonance of the converter is damped in an open loop manner using the dynamic equations of the line filter. The proposed open loop control method enables the smaller LC filter size and reduced amount of measurements. The validity of the proposed control methods are verified by simulation and experiment
