Abstract :
We report a design method of tapering structure for highly-efficient coupling between one-dimensional photonic-crystal coupled-cavity-waveguides and straight waveguides. Numerical results show that high transmission over wide bandwidth can be achieved by using proposed waveguide-tapering technique.
