Abstract :
In this work, we propose some control system applications for SI (spark ignition) engines based on the soft computing processing of an in-cylinder pressure sensor signal. In particular, we suggest a scheme of air/fuel control system for SI engines and a knock control system based only on the information coming from a combustion pressure sensor.
