Abstract :
In this paper a parameters variation analysis of the zero-current-switching (ZCS) class-E amplifier used as electronic ballast for fluorescent lamps is presented. The presented analysis takes into account the operation of the circuit under any condition of switching, the operation with a unidirectional switch and the effects of variations in the load, frequency, and the passive elements of the basic circuit. Furthermore, a losses analysis in the switch is also presented
