  • Abstract
    Under the requirements of reducing emissions, air pollution and achieving higher fuel economy, companies are developing electric, hybrid electric, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. However, the high cost of these technologies and the low autonomy are very restrictive. In this paper a new concept of fast on-board battery charger for Electric Vehicles (EVs) is proposed which uses the electric motor like filter and the same converter for charging and traction mode.
