Abstract :
For a kind of time-varying processes with a dominant and variable time delay, a new direct regressive method is developed to gain the predictive output of the system based on the estimation of the variable delay parameter. Then a generalized predictive adaptive control algorithm is derived. Some experiments have been done in the speed control system of diesel. The results have confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed method
