Abstract :
This paper describes the technological and innovative project ARCHYBALD. The objective is to design a hybrid powertrain for a heavy vehicle, especially in the military field. Here, we present the different interest of the project for a military vehicle, then the system and its different subsystems and afterwards more especially the mechanical powertrain designed by Nexter Systems.
