Abstract
This paper presents a novel polynomial expansion technique for solid state power amplifier (SSPA) linearization. We present a new nonlinear compensation method for AM/AM and AM/PM conversion characteristics which is applicable in other nonlinear systems. The effect of this linearization is considered in the performance of 64- and 256-level QAM signal transmission in an additive white gaussian noise (AWGN) channel
