Abstract
Acoustical comfort in a hospital is utterly needed for improving patient´s recovery progress, quality of sleep, and also working quality of medical staff. A research in the study of acoustical comfort was carried out in High Care Unit (HCU) at Hospital “X”, Bandung, Indonesia. Three parameters measured and modified in this research are definition 50 (D-50), sound pressure level (SPL), and reverberation time (T-30) through simulation, actual measurement, subjective observation, and passive acoustic recommendation methods.
