Abstract
This paper introduces the concept of service aggregation at the data level. Through the development of an Ontology mediated Web Service Aggregation Hub, we are aiming to create a general platform to enable data level composition among web services which have common capabilities. The contributions of this paper include (i) the proposal of the Ontology Mediated Web Service Aggregation Hub architecture, (ii) the definition of an application ontology for service operation modeling and classification. (iii) the utilization of ontology for enabling dynamic service invocation and result aggregation.
