  • Abstract
Research on Kidney Qi-Defficiency Syndrome (QDS) had made progress, and clinical results had shown metabolism outcomes collected in blood and volume of tissue-fluid (Vi) increased. Based on Qi-Blood Transportation theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and blood with tissue-fluid circulation theory in Modern Medicine (MM), a Hemodynamic model describing tissue-fluid´s regulation was set up and kidney´s function in regulating body-fluid was studied. Theoretical results of the model showed abnormality of metabolism, abnormality of cardiac or renal functions, increasing in urethral resistance would result in metabolism outcomes such as non-protein-nitrogen (NPN) collected in blood and Vi increased, and lead to kidney QDS in the end, that is identical with clinical discoveries.
