Abstract :
Trends in digital communications are opening up commercial applications to code division multiple access (CDMA). The paper presents an analytical model for the effects of nonlinearities and mobile channel on the performance of synchronous QPSK code division multiple-access (CDMA) systems. The combined effect of both the travelling wave tube (TWT) power amplifier exhibiting AM-to-AM and AM-to-PM conversion, down-link thermal noise and the multipath fading mobile channel are taken into consideration in the analysis. System performance in terms of the error probability is explored
