Abstract :
In the wireless network, the dependency of new and handoff calls makes searching for high performance call admission control policies challenging. Many studies on optimal control have not taken the correct dependency into consideration. As a result, the reported gains in those studies cannot be confirmed in a real network. This paper presents a modified linear programming approach to find better call admission control policies. The performance of the found policies are also analyzed and compared
