  • Abstract
    A model has been developed in order to study the plane wave propagation in anisotropic multilayered media surrounded by two semi-infinite media. This model can take into account adhesion defects between layers. The propagation in complex media such as stratified media is thus simulated. Ultrasonic controls can also be optimised in order to detect different types of defects (lack of adhesion, porosity, delamination, ...). The determination of optimum parameters for control, as a function of the problem, is outlined by two examples. The pursuit of the work consists in taking into account real transducer beams
